Si potrà seguire ‘passo passo’ sui social media la tre giorni della tappa finale dell’Ixs Downhill di Pila (Valle d’Aosta; Italia): sono infatti attivi da oggi la pagina Facebook - Ixs Downhill Cup – Pila – e il profilo Instagram – ixspila -, spazi che nelle giornate dal 9 all’11 settembre, faranno vivere in presa diretta le emozioni dei rider impegnati sulla pista ‘du Bois’.
Chiuse le iscrizioni, e in attesa del confronto con le adesioni effettuate con il ‘fattore K’, sono 273 gli atleti che si getteranno a capofitto sullo ‘storico’ tracciato di Pila: la pista disegnata dall’indimenticato Corrado Hérin. Sono trentuno le nazioni rappresentate: Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgio, Bulgaria, Canada, Croazia, Repubblica Ceca, Danimarca, Spagna, Estonia, Finlandia, Francia, Gran Bretagna, Germania, Grecia, Ungheria, Irlanda, Israele, Italia, Olanda, Norvegia, Portogallo, Romania, SudAfrica, Russia, Slovenia, Svizzera, Slovacchia, Svezia, Stati Uniti d’America. Un’autentica Babele: a farla da padrone la folta pattuglia italiana, con 72 iscritti, seguita dalla Svizzera (35) e dalla Germania (33). Gli atleti che hanno raggiunto la Valle d’Aosta dai posti più remoti, l’Elite sudafricano Stefan Garlicki; gli Elite argentini Gonzalo Gajdosech, Fabian José Ignacio, Mario Corsi, Gino Galizzi, Jeremias Maio e il Pro Master Santiago De Santiago; i Pro Under 19 australiani Jed Stanton, Asher Darlison, Kael Foale, Jackson Connelly; i Pro Under 17 canadesi Dane Jewett, Ryan Griffith e Lucas Daines; gli statunitensi: l’Elite, Tyler Ervin, e il Pro Under 17 Donne, Teagan Heap.
Il primo approccio con il tracciato, domani, dalle 10 alle 12, con l’ispezione a piedi e, dalle 12 alle 18, pista ‘du Bois’ aperta per gli allenamenti ufficiali. Sabato 10 settembre, le prove ufficiali, dalle 9 alle 12 e, dalle 13 alle 14, il Top training. Chiusura della tappa finale dell’Ixs Downhill Cup, domenica 11, con le prove ufficiali e le discese di allenamento, dalle 8 alle 11 e, dalle 11 alle 12, il Top training; il via alle finali alle 12.30.

The final stage of the Ixs Downhill Cup in Pila (Vd'A) lands on 'social networks'
